Osteoarthritis is one of the most chronic joint conditions and may take months or even years to recover. Our body is all made up of several joints. The joints are a particular place where two bones come together. The joints have a protective tissue known as cartilage which is flexible and acts as a shock absorber between the bones. Symptoms of Osteoarthritis
Increased swelling and inflammation
The swelling and inflammation can be seen around the joints where the pain and stiffness is occurring. This swelling is mainly due to the synovial fluid which is present between the joints. Many times the cartilage break off and float within the fluid which even increases the pain.
Inability to move
Moving becomes quite a task if you are suffering from Osteoarthritis or any other kind of arthritis. The stiffness in the joints along with the pain makes the joint unable to move.
